Please see below attached a poem that the children are learning. Please practice your verses at home. The children will know their verses and actions, and should be able to recite their parts off by heart.
Thanks

All work including taking photos by year 2.
Here are our plant animations. These short films represent a lot of work! We had to learn what animation is, practice our animation skills, then plan and create a final piece. It took two lessons to create the animation, and one lesson to learn how to record and import sounds. We hope you enjoy our work.
We made some African Batiks in year 2. Here is a little video of our finished result. A very kind and clever year 2 parent* made them into a cushion cover and beanbag cover for our book corner. We used flour and water mixture to resist the dye. We painted this onto our fabric before using fabric paints. It took ages to pick off, but I’m sure you’ll agree it was worth every effort!
*The year 2 parent was Mr Stone’s mum!
What an exciting week it’s been! Please watch our video below!
All footage was filmed by year 2 children! Well done!
Please see below for the PowerPoint from the parents information meeting. As always, if you have any questions at all, please pop in and see me or send me a message.
We designed and made Djembe drums from paper cups, string, Paper Mache and balloons. Here is a video of us hard at work!
